Your power of persuasion is remarkable! Rep. Buesgens voted for the GMAC fix yesterday – certainly because of your letter to the editor! However, after listening to Representative Paul Thissen (DFL) District: 63A, offering his remarks about the bill I am not so sure that the affirmative vote was the right one. Keep on keeping Rep. Buesgens on the right path. Maybe next you can get him to support early childhood education?

I have a few reasons that I can never vote for a Republican and they are as follows:
1. I do not hate the Constitution. I don’t believe that turning the Law over to a military tribunal is good for our country.
2. I do not despise the teachings of Jesus Christ. Carrying a gun into church is not Christ-like to say the least.
3. I’m not gay. Sucking on Rush Limbaugh’s private parts is totally out of the question but is definitely a requirement to be a Republican.

Hi there. Truthfully my comment has nothing to do with Carl Sheeler (although I hope he puts up a helluva fight, go Carl!) but instead, I’d like the Repressed Romantic to please comment on the OUTRAGEOUS happenings in places like Atlanta, GA and Phoenix, AZ where Air America stations are being forced off the air just because the Righties can’t take a little truth. In a word: PA-THETIC.

Hi. It’s Carl. Thanks for covering my efforts to bring national attention to my Bush Impeachment efforts. It’s a lonely road I’m traveling and it’s nice to have some support.

I am trying to “hit” all of the progressive, anti-war, anti-bush, anti-stupid websites and blogs, so we can move from cyberspace to mainstream media.

Any help you can lend is greatly appreciated. If the RI General Assembly doesn’t do their duty for our citizens I will let you know.

Well, of course they are! I think you might notice from the general tone of my writings that I agree with you totally. So-called "Christians" (like Bush, Roberts, Ashcroft) are just as much fanatics as any Muslim blowing himself up in Allah's name... I must say, however, that most of the folks with whom I am associated are not zealots, are open-minded, and do want to find ways to include, rather than exclude.

I’m interested to know, if, in your adult education session in church, the same 25 or so of those present related to each other the most recent incident of prejudice they themselves had perpetrated against others? Its been my experience that so called “christians” are the most destructive religious zealots. After all isn’t W a born again christian? Pat Roberts a leader of christians? The list goes on and on…
